Kyle is located off IH 35, approximately 22 miles from Austin, to the North and 53 miles from San Antonio, to the south. It has a small town feel, with easy access to Buda, San Marcos, Wimberley, Dripping Springs, Austin and San Antonio. Kyle has experienced fast growth since the 1990’s. It is in Hays County Public School District; there are eleven elementary schools, five middle schools, and three high schools in the area.
Kyle Subdivisions include Amberwood, Four Seasons Farms, Hometown Kyle, Indian Paintbrush, Kensington Trails, Meadow Woods, Plum Creek, Post Oak, Southlake Ranch, Spring Ranch, Spring Branch, Steeplechase, Waterleaf, and Woodlands.
